Atea is the chief Nativ, he helps Kya on her missions and tells her where to go and how to get there. Kya first meets Atea when Aton brings Kya to Nativ City, Atea tells Kya that she is in another universe and that Brazul is turning Nativs into Wolfen.

Atea tells Kya that she is in another universe and that Brazul is turning Nativs into Wolfen, Atea explains that the Wolfen are merely mutated Nativs mutated by Brazul, Kya's father who disappeared years ago. Kya resolves to save Frank and is introduced to Akasa, who teaches her how to fight using mystical Fighting Bracelet which greatly enhance her strength. Kya is blessed with a power which allows her to exorcize unconscious Wolfen and transform them back into Nativs.
Atea agrees to help Kya find her half-brother Frank. Kya learns she must find a magical Medallion which will allow her to return to her own universe. The medallion was split into seven Runes, emblems made of pure energy, which must be housed in a special amulet. Atea tells Kya that before kya can find the Medallion, Runes and Frank that they must obtain a Blue Egg which contains a creature called a Galbos. When Kya obtains the Galbos Atea tells Kya that the Galbos allows Atea to talk to Kya through the Galbos.
Later on through the Galbos Known as Stuff Atea tells Kya that him and Area are going to the Hunters Domain and that she should join them. When Kya gets to the Hunters Domain she finds out that Atea has been captured by the Hunter's Domain Wolfen
