Atea's bird has no name but is refferred to by Atea as "The Bird".
Atea's bird is similar to a real bird known as a "Puffin", it's not known if the bird is based on a puffin or not.
Atea's bird is always on Atea's staff and never leaves atea's side.
The Bird always makes wise cracks about Kya and what is happening, for example when kya says she will save her brother Frank and defeat Brazul and all the Wolfen, the bird says "You'll be sorry you ever came here!".

- One time when Atea and the bird are taken captive the bird tells Kya to take him and that he is house broken, although kya does not take only him, she finds a way to rescue both Atea and The Bird.
- He doesn't say to much in the ending part of the game.
