Aton is the strongest of the Nativs. He is the one who saves Kya in the beginning of the game, guiding her into the Nativ City. However, he doesn't trust her too much, and once the other Nativs start idolizing Kya, he slowly starts developing a certain jealousy. He is also Area's best friend.

Kya finds herself looking at strange creatures that tell her to get up and to quickly run away from the area she is in, becuase evil creatures called Wolfen are chasing after them. When Kya and the only remaining creature (Aton) get to saftey they devise a plan to get rid of a Wolfen close by, by using Kya as bait to trick the Wolfen into going in a trap. The creature reveals himself as a species called Nativs and brings Kya to the secret village of Nativ City to meet Atea who may be able to help Kya get back to her world.

Aton at first gives Kya tips, but later on
Aton decides to contact Brazul to make a deal with Brazul that if he can trick Kya into going to one of Brazul's secret lair's, that brazul can have kya as long as he does not harm the Nativ's, upon this offer Aton tricks Kya and traps her in the Amber Quarry with Brazul. But like any bad guy, Brazul tricks Aton as well and has his Wolfen burning Nativ City as they speak. After the event Aton dissapears and nothing is known to what happends to him after that, until the end of the game.
In the end of the game, Kya meets Aton again but as a Wolfen and is defeated by Kya.
