Runes are ancient artifacts made of pure energy. Kya needs the receptacle in order to group the runes together, which will open a passage to bring Kya back home. Collecting them also increases Kya’s magic capacity by 50, when kya gets them all she has 500 magic altogether. In order to put the runes together kya needs The Medallion
